Do an image search about Cubisim and look up some examples. Notice how they try and slice up the experience of viewing something over time into a series of interlocking 3d 'blocks'

For your own project start with a photo of a person or highly recognizable object. Draw it. Next divide it up. Next change the focus in each area. Next start making 3d forms out of the shapes.
After you have made a sketch figgure out how you are going to make a painting of this in color. You can use acrylic on stiff paper or cardboard, water color on watercolor paper or colored pencil. Your finished project should be at least 12" x 18".
If your process is slightly different, that's okay. Howevever we want to end with an image that is split up where all the parts are three dimensional and sit on a three dimensional space - the sum of the parts should be greater than the whole!
